Welcome to 504tours!
We offer New Orleans history and New Orleans stories on our walking tours through the historic neighborhoods of the Crescent City (French Quarter, Garden District, and city tours upon request). Our focus is on the people who lived in New Orleans long before there was an area code 504, and those who live here today. You’ll learn about the unique characters that this city has produced – from eccentric aristocrats and colorful privateers to iconic jazz musicians. You will hear their stories and get to admire the beautiful Creole architecture of New Orleans. At the end of the tour, you’ll understand why so many people insist that New Orleans has no equal.
Tours occur seven days a week. Tour times: 10 a.m. for the French Quarter tour (starts at 529 St. Ann Street, the former Louisiana Welcome Center, half a block closer to river from the corner of St. Ann and Chartres streets and across from side gates of Jackson Square) and 1:30 p.m. for the Garden District tour (begins outside Starbucks, 2801 Magazine Street at Washington Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115).
Cost: $35 per person, free for children 6 & under.
